Privacy Policy

What we collect

Browsing MMATCHD never requires an account. As a guest, your saves, follows, watch history and votes are stored only in your own browser.

If you create an account, we store your email address, an optional display name, and the library data you generate in the app: saved items, follows, watch history, Arena cases and votes. Signing in with Google shares your email address and basic profile with us — never your Google password.

Why we store it

Account data exists for one reason: to sync your MMATCHD library across your phone and desktop, and to attribute public Arena contributions to you.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers on MMATCHD.

Who can see it

Your library, follows, watch history and preferences are readable only by your own account, enforced at the database level with row-level security.

Content you publish in Arena — cases, arguments and vote totals — is public and readable by signed-out visitors.

Third-party content and providers

Video playback is embedded from YouTube using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie domain. YouTube may still set cookies once you press play, under Google's own privacy policy.

Structured fight, event and fighter data is supplied by SportsDataIO. Requests to these providers are made from our servers; provider API keys never reach your browser.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. You can sign out at any time from Settings, and you can request full account and data deletion by emailing support@mmatchd.app — we action deletion requests within 30 days.

Guest data can be removed instantly by clearing site data in your browser.
